Weston Police Station - Weston, MA

Donham & Sweeney was selected by the town of Weston to design the new 20,000 square foot police station to address the deficiencies of its predecessor, supporting the department’s “community-oriented agency” philosophy. A larger, more welcoming, and accessible lobby links visitors directly to dispatch, the 40-seat, networked training/ presentation room, and a small, private family conference room. Police work is conducted in a series of well-equipped offices, interview rooms, and the booking and detention area is secure and contained. The station was designed as part of a new municipal campus. 
ECO Cladding’s Vci.10 - ACM aluminum subframing system was utilized to install the facade’s blue ACM panels. The rainscreen attachment system has 1.5” adjustability and has the ability to meet the building’s thermal requirements.
