Williams College Hopper Science Center

ECO Cladding provided the engineered subframing system for the terracotta panel façade of the Hopper Science Center at Williams College. Designed by Payette, this dynamic addition to the Morley Science Center fosters the college’s strong culture of student-faculty interaction and collaborative learning. The building integrates advanced biology, chemistry, and physics labs with a variety of communal spaces—study areas, project alcoves, and meeting rooms—linked by a cascading central stair. ECO’s support system ensured seamless integration of the terracotta rainscreen, delivering both aesthetic warmth and long-term performance for this interdisciplinary hub of science and mentorship.
