Ranked among the nation’s top 50 hospitals for heart surgery, Northwell’s South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, NY, continues its growth with a new six-story patient pavilion designed by EwingCole. The expansion enhances clinical efficiency, flexibility, and patient care while preserving the character of the Long Island community.

ECO Cladding systems were used to support HPL and metal panels in a high-performance rainscreen façade. The engineered subframing provided the durability and precision required for the pavilion’s clean design, contributing to a calming, light-filled environment that prioritizes patient well-being.
