1550 Evans - San Francisco, CA
Located at 1550 Evans Avenue, the Southeast Community Center (SECC) in San Francisco is a vibrant, state-of-the-art facility designed to serve and celebrate the local community.
The building features Parklex high-pressure laminate (HPL) panels with a natural wood grain aesthetic, supported by ECO Cladding’s engineered wall brackets and profile rails to create a cladding support framework for long-term performance and durability. Designed as a cultural and educational hub, the SECC includes event spaces, an amphitheater, a café, public workspaces, and green spaces - all created to foster connection, creativity, and empowerment.
Our parts and pieces component program played a key role in supplying variable-depth wall brackets and L-Profile rails for the support of the phenolic panels. We're grateful to have helped the design team achieve both the architectural vision and the sustainability goals of this important civic project.
